KEY POINTS

Single or dual operator

Our lead pilot James mainly works as a single operator, meaning he both flies the drone and operates the camera.
We can also offer an additional operator on request.
The drones we operate have some of the most advanced tracking features currently available which enables us to get shots previously only possible with a dual operator setup.
He also has hundreds of hours of flying experience and is one of the most experienced drone operators in Wales.

Professional formats

As well as shooting excellent quality H264/265 footage, we can also shoot in ProRes 422HQ and 4444XQ for more demanding workflows.
For photography we can shoot high resolution up to 45 mega pixel raw and jpeg stills, together with panoramic and 360 images.

Experience of flying in restricted areas

With hundreds of commercial projects since 2015, we have experience of operating in and around all sorts of restricted areas, including MOD Danger Areas, Airport Flight Restriction Zones, RAF Low Flying areas, Central London, Royal Parks, National Parks, National Trust properties, Prisons, Power Stations, Oil/Gas Facilities and SSSI’s.

Imaging background

Our lead pilot James has been working in the TV and multimedia industry for over 15 years.
He was a film maker and photographer long before drones starting taking off (excuse the pun) and has an excellent eye for footage and photographs. He also has many TV credits with his footage being used often by broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, S4C, C4, Discovery and Netflix.

Portability and viewing

We are regularly asked to film and photograph in places that are difficult to get to, therefore we have additional equipment which enables us to get to places off the beaten track.
We also provide wireless client monitors which means the client/director can view the footage with ease in realtime.

Editing and delivery

We are also experienced video/photo editors, and we often edit the footage and photographs we shoot for clients.
For shoots that require the footage/photographs to be handed over, this can either be done directly onsite, digitally or an a hard drive afterwards, or we can edit the footage down and send it across.
