I have been involved in video production for over 15 years in a variety of areas including corporate, documentary, music, event, sports and aerial films. I am based in south Wales primarily in Newport, Gwent and Llanelli in Carmarthenshire but I work with companies, agencies and individuals across Wales, the UK and beyond.
In that time I have been fortunate to produce a variety of videos, motion graphics and animations for clients including the BBC, Oxfam, the World Wild Life Fund (WWF), KPMG, The National Trust, The Welsh Government, Visit Wales, The Celtic Manor, Pfizer, Learn Direct, Careers Wales, Bang and Olfsen, Carmarthenshire Council, Neath Port Talbot Council and Monmouthshire Council to name a few.
I have always been interested in the whole technical process of video production, and therefore a key aspect of my work is being able to look after camera operation, sound, lighting and the post production process, working with the client or producers/directors to get the best outcome. I am also a CAA approved drone pilot, and I increasingly use drones as part of my productions.
I work with a variety of cameras, from the Sony FS7 to a GOPRO. My current favourite camera is my Panasonic GH5, this incredibly powerful yet relatively compact 4k camera is a great choice for many productions. It also matches well with my state of the art drone, the DJI Inspire 2 X5S.
For post production, I extensively use the Adobe Creative Suite in particular Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator together with the 3D modelling software Cinema 4D.
Many of my clients use me as an all in one technical solution, using me to both film and edit projects. I’m also often asked to be a key member of larger productions, whether that’s filming from the ground, with my drone above, or editing/creating motion graphics and animations in the post production process.
I am available for freelance hire, if your interested in using me in your project please do get in touch.
