JHM was established in 2008 by James Harries, a filmmaker, videographer, drone operator and multimedia designer with now over 15 years experience in television and media production.

JHM specialises in film/video production and photography, including broadcast, commercial, corporate, construction, industrial, promotional and events.

We have a team of filmmakers and photographers with a range of experience in television and commercial work.

Alongside running JHM, James works extensively as a camera and drone operator in broadcasting and commercial video production with BBC, ITV, S4C, Channel 4, Discovery Channel, Amazon Prime and Netflix credits and a large portfolio of corporate and commercial work. He has filmed over 500 features for ITV alone. You can find out more on the pages of this website.

James has been a qualified drone operator since 2015, with a UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Operational Authorisation and an EU drone license.

He is now one of the most experienced professional drone pilots in Wales.

He is also accustomed to working on Welsh language productions and can speak conversational Welsh, having been learning the language since 2017.

Fun fact, James is also a classically trained pianist with a music degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He also has a Masters degree in Multimedia from the University of Wales.
