Video Production

I have been involved in video production for over 15 years in a variety of areas including broadcast, corporate, documentary, music, event, sports and aerial films.  I am based in south Wales primarily in Newport, Gwent and Llanelli in Carmarthenshire but I work with companies, agencies and individuals across Wales, the UK and beyond.
In that time I have been fortunate to produce a variety of videos, motion graphics and animations for clients including the BBC, ITV, S4C, Oxfam, the World Wild Life Fund (WWF), KPMG, The National Trust, The Welsh Government, Visit Wales, The Celtic Manor, Pfizer, Learn Direct, Careers Wales, Bang and Olfsen, Carmarthenshire Council, Neath Port Talbot Council and Monmouthshire Council to name a few.

Equipment and freelance hire

I own and operate the Sony FS7 Mark 2 broadcast 4k camera, the Sony Z150 4k camcorder, the Panasonic GH5 and GH4 with a variety of lenses. I also have a full LED lighting kit, motorised rhino slider, gimbal, wireless director monitor, autocue, green screen and sound equipment including radio, shotgun and studio microphones. You can find out more on my camera page here.
I am also a CAA approved drone pilot, operating the DJI Inspire 2 X5S with a variety lenses and the Prores upgrade. I often use drones as part of my productions, find out more here.
Many of my clients use me as an all in one technical solution, using me to both film and edit projects. I’m also often asked to be a key member of larger productions, whether that’s filming from the ground, with my drone above, or editing/creating motion graphics and animations in the post production process.
I am available for freelance hire, if your interested in using me in your project please do get in touch.

Care for the Family charity appeal video

Many major charities use promotional videos to help gain support, and for over 10 years the charity Care for the Family had been using a 7 minute video to give an overview of their work in order to gain support at events that they held.

I was asked to film and edit the new version in collaboration with in house script writers and directors.  All of the video was filmed by myself with the exception of the bereaved parent interview in the middle of the video.

The video has been well received and is now regularly shown to audiences of several hundred at a time at charity events and conferences.
